Hello guys and welcome back to another zero elo uncle episode. And uh it is important to clarify my uncle is no longer zero elo. Uh but if you saw in the last episode he's about mid400s and recently started to to test out a civ I suggested the Japanese. Now since that episode I actually got to hang out with my uncle in person, talk to him a little bit so I can give you some insights from that. And I'll get into uh what I suggested for him with the Japanese. But this is actually mega random. And they actually start with three pre-built houses here, which he noticed right away as well, which is pretty crazy cuz like for me, I instinctively just build two houses right away. But he was like, "Oh, let's assess the situation here. I don't need houses." Which I thought was pretty cool. I think many people out there watching would agree. Now, Ank did say, and this is maybe the highlight of our conversation about Age of Empires, uh, I'll just throw it in at the start of the video. Ank did say, "I give him way too much credit." He's like, "Yeah, he he gives me way too much credit. He says I'm doing things for reasons that I didn't even know existed. I'm just clicking things and playing the game, basically." Uh, but little thing you need to know about, he's far too humble for his own good. All right. I just finished guantled and im happy not having to return to this game mode anymore... that's until I remember that the mode is incomplete, The mode is lacking the Aztec medals and japanes and Aztec legends.. so my nightmare is probably finished yet. The 99lv is by long the hardest achievement of the game due mainly to how long it takes, how time consuming and most important, how borring it is. Guantled stop being fun after your frst ever 6 nods; then is just going for Halogi and getting the "Hire a titan" market ticket and repeat infinite runs until getting lvl 99. Yeah the mode can be fun when played with friends, but the run is unecessarily long; 10 nods is way to long... even 6 nods would do the job. Level 99 as the uper cap is also way to high, something like level 50 would be more reasonable.

Galleons already have really high bonus damage vs. other Galleons so the +1 pierce armor seems pretty insignificant, not to mention you'll likely have Carracks/Fast Fire Ships in the front anyways. Carracks already get shredded by Galleons and Fast Fire Ships hard counter them, so not sure how much it would affect either of those dynamics. Galleons also have far more base attack than normal archery units so +1 pierce armor would theoretically block a much smaller percentage compared to land archers. Fortifications already shred ships with bonus damage so pierce armor doesn't matter at all for them. Am I missing something or is this just an incredibly niche tech, even for water standards?

People are absolute dickhead nerds with their scouts PTSD has me making sure my vills are always running the buddy system and ignoring repeated slaps in the ass while building

My garrison hotkey works fine at the start of the game, I have it bound to 'g', and i can garrison my units and pull em out easily with 'g' but, sometimes as the game progresses, it no longer works and I need to manually un-garrison my units and that makes my micro hella slow cuz my game style is archers + palaces. Have you guys got any clue as to why this is happening?

Hey all, I stumbled upon this bug today. I have been using the new "Drop Off" command (x hotkey) with vills and when playing as the Japanese, specifically when applied to vills gathering gold, they do not also drop off a portion of stone as they normally should. The first time it happened, I assumed my vills had too small a quantity of gold (you know, rounding) but when I tried it again I was sure to wait until my vills had plenty of gold (the one I click on has 12). Has anyone else noticed this and reported to the devs?
