Ok guys, somehow the community did the impossible, bring back a "dead" game. If we really love this game, we need to support this DLC with our money. We need to show Microsoft that AOE3 can be an important source of income for them. The main idea is, if possible, every active player should buy this DLC on September 10...Let's make this DLC at least in the top 3 of the best-selling Age of Empires content of the entire franchise.

Is literally the worst idear possible. Thats just BS. I hate when people argu the germans should be split. No! when i play germans i wanna play germans and all of them not 1 typ of regional empier that lasted for 50 years or so. Most of the argumentation i hear is also very shity like idgaf if there were 2 empiers at a point if we go after this rule we should split italy into 4 kingdoms or india into 4237 or hause into many different for they are a big mix of nearly all of western africa? See how stupid this is? Stop asking for obvies dumb civs that will just make the game worse by dismantling a civ. The inability of many here to question if something should be in the game worrys me. i dont want content above everything else. when they do more content or change civs they should be carefull and put quality over quantity if not i fear that they will ruin the game for quick money.

We have seen some of this. but each new faction particularly European ones (and America and Mexico to an extent) have been allowed to be more flavorful. More custom units, builds and abilities for the old original would be nice. Kinda like how they redid the Russian infantry to be nationally accurate names. What do you think? How would you change some of the og factions?

I played a few games in the open beta, and the collection rate was now updated to 1/s for every resource. Is this a bug? Or a future update? I didn't see anything in the patch notes about it.

So, I was testing out and looking through the revolutions when testing Japan and the Maji Age up for them in the consulate. It does what is says and takes away and replaces the troops, for the Daimyo 's this is where it gets interesting. It only allows them to produce the musketeers. the Shogun is able to still create all of their units. no problem there. The Shogunate turns into the "Government" building, no problem there. However, for the Dojo 's they still produce; Yumi's, Sams, riders and archers at the last upgrade you had them at. For the Musks though they train the proper unit for the "Revolt". I haven't tested it with the Sams launcher but since they do get the upgrade for a gunpowder unit it seems they also get the bonuses/upgrades for that as well. P.S. I haven't seen anyone talk about anything from the Japs in regard to bugs and don't know where else to report it to. Oh and the consulate produces ninjas that have better siege than the ones you can make with the shogun Btw.

This pig wall is actually impenetrable for the Japanese & Indians, since they cannot convert or kill the pigs with vills. For any other civ, they need to bring their vills to fight and do some pigsticking to get inside. With Poland you can get 45 of them (30 + 15 from ageups).

hi, as i sayed in the title, i dont know how to resist a rush as a russian. usually im going for 14 vill. before age 2, then building a casemate for muskets + or - far from my TC, but here i made a few games against the same england player, and every time he was raiding me before i get more than 5 muskets and the cav card. sometimes even before that. how can i resist?

Anyone playing with quickfix mod by Aiz wanna check it? Since without bugged gather rates & without bugged cards not costing a shipment, Poles seem to be actually the worst civ so far, and I was wondering how the 3 vill card would help to balance out their hectic economy. If I got some feedback I could send it to the devs for balancing purposes

Hi guys I'm a huge campaign fan and i wanted to make a post about the new campaign difficulty in the beta. They made changes to all the missions and the new difficulty is proving to be significantly harder (for the most part). This post is first and foremost my review of the new difficulty but also i hope that they see it and make some changes because there are some things that could be improved. DISCLAIMER: i am in no way "good" at the game in a competitive sense. I can win a solo 2v1 against extreme ai with most of the civs im good with/enjoy (buff russians). ive played some ranked and done okay but thats just not how i enjoy playing this game. Possible Bug: the three warship upgrades in the dock do not apply to morgan/lizzie's flagships. All three of them target the LogicalTypeNavalMilitary unittype, but these flagships do not have that type. Armor Plating ID 776 in techtreey, Carronade ID 774, Percussion Locks ID 775. Would be amazing if you guys added the unittype to those ships. :) Also as a note the score i give each one is based on the amount of fun i had playing it not the difficulty of the mission. blood 1: 4.5/5 not that hard but cant make it much harder without making it impossible. Difficult to tweak this mission too much while keeping it faithful to the original design because of the lack of a normal start, ageups, buildup etc. I'd recommend adding more sipahi at the end so that they can tank my cav a little harder and we don't just insta wipe the jans and bombards in 15 seconds. blood 2: 4.5/5 not easy, otto get bombards and falcs and such to make it actually challenging. This is another of my favorite missions just because of the map design. it makes it hard to really expand because of the close proximity to the main enemy base. The ludicrous AI makes tons of falcs/culvs so it helps amp up the difficulty and forces you to make more cav and have a mixture of units. id say a very good mission for the new difficulty. blood 3: 5/5 lizzie lands a ton of d

Hello, Been experimenting with Meiji restoration builds but kind of confused by the unit changes. It locks out imperial natives - not sure if bug, it also removes imperial upgrades from a bunch of units. Does that mean all those units get all upgrades leading upto imperial or do they just get the imperial upgrade? Also unless I’m mistaken, yumi archer cards don’t transfer over to the imperial skirms and I think the ashigaru one don’t either? Anyone know a semi decent build order for it? Is it worth to just bank export? Is it worth sending export cards to speed up the process? It being imperial makes it tricky anyways since you won’t see it in most competitive games but I’m wondering if there’s a way to focus the build in a team game or something.

I think the granaderos are a bit overnerffed, they can’t kill artillery, barely can kill villagers AND they aren’t exceptionally good at destroying buildings (something that the description says they are). They are defenseless against artillery masses like gatlings, organ guns or horse artillery just because they can’t fight back (oh, a mass of abuss gunners also melts them) and if you want to siege probably the pikemen, halberds, or doppels as the germans, are a better option. My suggestion? Leave one of the negative multipliers against artillery or villagers but not BOTH, give them maybe 15% siege armor or a grenade launcher, and if none of these are a option at least buff their melee damage so they can kill villagers without needing 3 or 4 volleys of grenades.
