Hello, I’ve noticed quite a few bugs lately, and today I’d like to report one that’s particularly annoying. This issue is related to Kreposts . It’s possible to bind “Select All Castles” and “Select All Kreposts” to the same hotkey so they share the same shortcut. This allows you to produce Bombard and Konniks , but for some reason it’s not possible to produce Trebuchets , which is quite frustrating. However, if you manually create a control group containing both your Castles and Kreposts, you can produce Bombard , Konniks, and Trebuchets without any issue. This seems like a small building-priority issue that could probably be fixed quite easily. If you could address it, it would make the Bulgarians much more enjoyable to play. Thank you!

Hola a todos, espero que alguien haya tenido este problema antes. De repente, Age of Empires 2 DE (versión de Microsoft Store) empezó a mostrar la advertencia "Se ha detectado manipulación: Un proceso en ejecución podría estar interfiriendo con el correcto funcionamiento de Age of Empires 2 DE" al iniciarse. Justo antes de que empezara, me apareció un mensaje preguntándome qué fuente de datos usar para mi perfil (local o en la nube). Recuerdo haber elegido local (datos más recientes), y el error apareció inmediatamente después. Volví a iniciar sesión en mi cuenta de Microsoft. Eliminé por completo la carpeta de datos del juego local ( %USERPROFILE%\Games\Age of Empires 2 DE\ ) y dejé que se regenerara. Nada de esto lo solucionó. La advertencia sigue apareciendo y no puedo hacer nada desde el menú principal una vez que la supero. we all know the mongols castle UT is useless and is probably the least researched out there, both in multiplayer as well as in single player. i suggest we change it to a very cheap cost and its effect is that every 5ish mins it signals a random part of the map for the enemy and says the intro line of the mongols campaign as a taunt to every enemy player: "Behold! the horde of genghis kahn approaches!" would be mainly used as a way of causing panic for the enemies

Idea I had where the Hun's UT Atheism is replaced by one that gives Tarkan a charge attack in which it uses it's torch to do a fire breathing trick. It would have like 3 range and only do like +1 attacks on top of the Tarkan's regular attack, so similar to the Samurai in that this Charge attack is very situationally useful. Only Reason for this suggestion is that it would be funny while not comprising balancing.

Clearly this sub itself is a goldmine for strategy but it's scattered in individual threads. Short of getting transcripts from Youtube and analyzing those.. what is everyone's favourite online resource for up-to-date information that includes the latest patches and latest Civs?

I have tried everything that came up from googling the error. Worked fine 7/25, didn't play 7/26, now its 7/27. I play on PC through the xbox app. I own the game. I deleted Nvida App (still have control panel) discord isn't running I completely disabled antivirus and windows defender logged out of xbox app and marketpalce, restarted, logged back in reinstalled the game on my C drive My processes that are running are almost all windows related, nothing extra is there a log somewhere that I can traceback and maybe see the process that is interfering? Please help! EDIT: looks like Xbox servers are down for the last 12 hours and is the likely cause

what would you think of more single player content (chronicles or plain base game, hopefully the latter) which focused on many many more exploits of civs that allready have a dedicated full campaign? with how much the game base has expanded (new civs, mechanics, etc.) its not crazy to think that we could have full campaigns for civs likes teutons, franks, britons or basically any civ, which could cover any time fram from their history aside from the allready in-game campaigns there's still a very hefty gold mine to be gathered in that regard and i would definetely pay their moneys worth for extra content i know there are custom scenarios and campaigns for free out there, but they arent 100% polished. hell if devs dont have the time, tune those campaigns a bit, pay the owner what they deserve and add them up in several DLCs and sell those instead!

For the past months I have tried to see how AI tools could convert Chinese campaigns into English ones. This method is documented in this Reddit post with all details needed for doing it yourself, building on top of it or using it to translate campaigns into other languages. It’s not perfect, but it’s working. Recently, I have tried to see if campaigns for Age of Empires 2 HD could be converted into campaigns for AOE 2 Definitive Edition in the same way. On Age of Kings Heaven (AOKH) and the Steam workshop, there is a lot of high quality content which have never been ported over to the 2019 release. At the moment it does not work. When a campaign is launched, within the first minute I get the “Defeated” screen. This is documented here - link . I am unsure if what I am trying to achieve is a pipe dream or if it’s only a matter of creating a good enough skill file / agent. Audio files should be able to be converted into .wem using this script - link . I am not a developer myself so there is also a chance that I am missing some basic stuff in the process.
