Hello, I have played through all three of the campaigns for AoE III DE on ‘Hard’ difficulty, but I found all of the scenarios to be too easy. I like this game, but I want to experience challenging singleplayer scenarios that demand the highest level of skill and expertise. I do not care if the AI cheats to some degree, I just want to be challenged. Can anyone please recommend me the most challenging custom scenarios that currently exist in this game? Now that the developers are back on the game, it would be great if they improved the community plaza. Most civilizations have some type of religious building. Europeans have churches, and Asians have monasteries. Native Americans, on the other hand, have tents. To change that, I came up with the idea that each faction should have a community plaza that better represents its culture. For example: The Haudenosaunee have a longhouse where they can keep the villagers safe while they perform ceremonies. The Lakota have four teepees around a campfire. Each teepee can shelter up to 10 villagers, and have independent hit points, so if you lose one, you still have three more. The downside is that it's the most fragile of all. The Incas have a platform pyramid. It would be the most resistant Inca building, occupying more space than other constructions, and would be as cheap and easy to build as the original. It is designed this way to function as a defensive point that the enemy will always avoid due to how long it would take to destroy, and the low cost to the Incas of losing it. In front of the pyramid's steps would have been the original community plaza, where the villagers and priestesses would prepare the ceremonies. The Aztecs have the same community plaza as the Incas. They just have a different model and lower statistics, but it can be used in the same way. In this way, Native Americans would have a religious building just like other civilizations. The community plaza of the Haudenosaunee and Lakota would be renamed as "Community Pit." And the one of the Aztecs and Incas, "Community temple" Does anyone know if there's a way to give this idea to the developers? I wouldn't mind if someone else told them.

With independence mode adding more importance to Forts, and adding the Native Strongholds, it really sticks out that Castles are no competitor. Currently they are more seen as an expensive artillery foundry than the imposing map-control building that their name implies. I wonder if they could work better with more range? A military garrison ability? Better stats, more/cheaper upgrades? I wonder if they could train more units for Japan and India (eg Samurai, Mahout), or have a minutemen button?

As a lifelong AOE player who's been spoiled with GSC graphics many years back, I've come to seriously resent the fact that every shot of every gun is accompanied by a mini-reenactment of a space shuttle takeoff. Is there any way to turn down or render the trails invisjble entirely, so it's a) more realistic and b) Not overly apparent that thirty guys are all shooting at a single villager?

New dlc is adding a mode that is closer to previous aoe gameplay, including each civ having a "castle" that trains their unique unit. Like aoe2, I think having unique forts would be cool. They gave Aztec the America Citadel as their stronghold and "Native Stronghold" to Haud and Lakota. Made a concept of unique ones for both. I want to learn how to mod to replace building eventually. My question is what real life forts, strongholds, or a reference building, each of the European/Americas civs should inspire their fort design?
