So to start off let me just say I don't really feel like Mongols as a whole really needs a rework, but a few of the units and mechanics need a fix that wouldn't really be able to fit in with the current state of the civ and the game as a whole. This poorly drawn conclusion led me to a broader rework I did for fun so go ahead and enjoy it. Bonuses Changed I don't even know what to call this but I feel like Mongol villagers should get a bonus of some kind to sheep. Increase the gather rate by 10% and have them drop off 10% more sheep meat or hold 10% more or something. I mean that's their whole thing and they don't even get an actual bonus to sheep while House of Lancaster does? Something should definitely change their, it doesn't have to be much but something should be their at least for the flavor/theme Packable buildings: buildings can be packed up and moved. While packed up technologies can be researched and units can be produced. Units train at 50% speed while in a packed building and the building moves at 50% speed while training. I think this is such a neat mechanic that gets butchered by the hassle of resetting buildings and the glitches that entails. This will allow techs to be researched on the fly and units to be produced in a way that will actually let you move buildings. Ovoo: Ovoo's will continue to produce stone on depleted nodes at 25/50/75/100% of the normal rate for each age respectively. ---This change is geared toward allowing veins to still provide some amount of value even after the initial resources are depleted. Both Malians and Golden Horde have this mechanic while still allowing multiple nodes to be mined, I really don't think this would be too unfair. Improved Upgrades: So my main issue with the improved upgrades is the cost. Most of the eco upgrades cost so much either they don't get used or you have to float a ridiculous amount of resources to get them.
