Greetings all, I want to enable Crush attack sounds, as heard on Cyclopes and Siege Engines, on Otontin Smashers but I am failing. I know how to make a unit do Area damage, add a unit to a tech’s list of affected units and make Additive mods but I am stymied in this endeavor. Does anybody know if my goal is possible and if so how do I attain success?

Game Version: Age of Empires IV: Anniversary Edition, all civ dlcs Build Number: dr-activerelease1 age 4 16.1.10056.0 Platform: Steam Operating System: Windows 11 Issue: Flickering in every map, every few seconds. For troubleshooting ive tried changing resolution, vsync and graphical settings, vrr in monitor, fullscreen to bordless, new displayport, my old 1080p monitor (using 4k now), vsync off in nvidia panel, different maps, different civs, different 5070ti drivers, maximum power/performance in nvidia panel, low latency in nvidia panel, lowering my monitors HZ (its a 144hz one), capping my fps in different numbers, disabling/enabling mpo in windows, reinstalling, enabling/disabling mods and probably more, since its been happening for a few months so far… i tried to upload 2 videos, but since im a new user i cant (please provide a detailed description of the issue) (use the upload button to include a picture or video of the issue in action if possible) Trigger Event: just launch a skirmish and watch a building/soldiers (what was happening at the time of the performance/stability issue) (this could be an action you or another player took right before the issue started) Repro Steps: just launching a skirmish and watch a building/soldiers. It happens every time for me, no matter the map settings or civs (List the steps needed to reproduce the issue) (Indicate if you were able to reproduce this, to help us identify frequency of the issue) (etc)

Took long enough. For anyone that doesn't know, the blessing rewards from the dailies give you each of the simple (grey border) blessings. Once you have all of them, the daily gives you each of the fine (green border) blessings. And only after getting every fine blessing do you start getting the heroic levels (blue border). I wonder if getting enough will eventually unlock the mythical (purple border) or divine (orange border) blessings. it'll take another year to tell.

The second year content is done and we didn't see a 4th Egyptian Major God. If we ignore Setna's minor cameo from the Immortal Pillars, Amanra and Kamina's appearance in Obsidian Mirror was the only DLC representation Egypt got. Even Norse has the Golden Gift and the Reginleif's Rally to expand their story. My hot take: Even back in the old days Egypt was an underrated civilization based on the representation it got. Ensemble tried to use the Greek template of heroes and monsters for the Egyptians and it didn't work. In the actual Egyptian myth the creatures are physical manifestation of the gods. The Bennu Bird is Ra's Ba (soul), the Apis Bull is a physical manifestation of Ptah and intermediary between the priests and the gods. It looks like they almost went this route with Anubite, Avenger, Petsobek and Wadjed then at the last minute changed their minds. Although the Son of Osiris is not a myth unit, he also basically acts as an avatar of Horus. Instead of heroes fighting gods, Egyptian myths focus on gods protecting humans from various chaotic evil entities. Their funerary texts focus on keeping the soul alive in the afterlife. I don't want a civ full of quadruped myth units like the Chinese land units, but I think that there was a sweet spot there that they missed.

Been playing a lot of Quetzalcoatl lately, one match up I'm really struggling with is Freyr. Can't seem to win any early fights to deny asgardian bastion, as his TA just shred ocelot warriors, and the classical huskarls kill my archers... Obviously I don't want to let him just sit there and boom, but no ideas how to stop it? TIA

Basically, giving each wonder a unique effect while they are built. Maybe if this would be too much, nerf the effects of the Wonder age itself. Here are my ideas: - Zeus: The lightning bolt power is free and has its recharge time set to 10 seconds. - Poseidon: Every few seconds, spawns a free Hetairos - Hades : Chance for human soldiers to return as shades is set to 50% - Demeter: The wonder acts as a resource drop point, and any resouce dropped at it is doubled. - Ra: All buildings within LOS of the wonder act as if they were empowered by a pharaoh (monuments dont have the further 60% empowerment) - Isis: Enemy god powers cost twice as much to recast. - Set: Every few seconds, spawns a random animal of set elephants being most likely. - Thor: Large stat buffs to all human units, especially Hersirs - Odin: The wonder has LOS comparable to the egyptian lighthouse (Odin's wonder IS a huge tower after all). In addition, it can train Great Hall units, and do so 75% faster. - Loki: The spy god power costs just 10 favor, and you control the units that you cast it on. Units that the opponent controls won't attack it unless specifically tasked. If the controlled unit would gather a resource for an opponent, it goes to you instead. - Freyr: Gullinbursti is always active and can be moved around very slowly. Casting the Gullinbursti god power allows for it to move normally for a a time. - Gaia: The wonder spreads lush that slowly covers the entire map, effectively constantly healing all your units. - Kronos: Time-shifting buildings is near-instantaneous - Oranos: The Omniscience technology costs half as much. If you've already purchased it, you get a 50% refund of the gold you spent on it.

Hi all! I've recently released a mod allowing Quinametzin to repair and construct non-economic buildings, and very quickly at that (perhaps owing to their somewhat non-conventional method of construction). Since I've seen a few people request such a feature here, I thought I'd share its release. Just search for "Quinametzin can build" in the mod browser. Inspired by their lore as great builders of ancient cities - as mentioned in their description - as well as by their original incarnation in the excellent Return of the Gods mod for pre-told. Please excuse the unintentional comedy of their building animation, consider them enthusiastic.
