Game Version: DLC Build Number: v.100.19.17020.0 (606844R) Platform: Steam Operating System: Windows 11 Issue: Misleading tech tree in Pantheon selection for Demeter The tech tree shown in the Pantheon selection screen for Demeter shows several items available in the Archaic Age which are not actually available in the Archaic Age. The items shown which allege to be available in the Archaic Age are: Harpy Amazon Archer Divine Labor Iron Grip This is not accurate. It does not match what’s available to the player and does not match what’s shown on the full tech tree. Only Divine Labor is available from the Granary in the Archaic Age. Harpy and Iron Grip are not available from the Temple until the Mythic Age. Amazon Archer is not able from the Fortress until the Mythic Age. This “strat” has been broken (in tgs) since japan’s release; its extremely unfun and should ideally not exist or at least be severly nerfed. 1tc Susanoo fh with some kitsune harass into Raiju spam. And it works so well beacuse the dmg of the Raiju special attack can be stacked if its used simultaneously (by casting it manually). All you need is 3 Raiju to wipe a whole group of villagers. And even though manually stacking Raiju specials with Amaterasu is already broken, Susanoo takes it to an extreme level beacuse of his incredible synergy with said strat: He unlocks Bushido too fast compared to Tsuko/Ama His bushido reward granting instant chunks of favor is both highly synergistic with this strat and (imo) too much resources up-front - a favor trickle or something completly different would be a much more healthy balance lever. Its not rare to see Susanoo players unlocking Bushido T2 at ~7-8:XX mins just by running around with 4-6 Kitsune, which grants the bushido favor reward at the perfect moment to start spamming Raiju. 33% reduced MU special cooldown means he can kill more villagers in a shorter timespan His unique tech granting bonus movespeed and true dmg not only facilitates the bushido gains during kitsune raids, it also makes chasing both kitsune and raiju almost impossible and extremly frustrating. Seeing someone abuse the aforementioned susanoo raiju raiding strat to the absolute extreme vs someone casually playing amaterasu and using some raiju to raid (without abusing/stacking the special attacks) is night and day - and even then I would love to see some of the Raiju speed shifted towards other stats to lower frustration and increase counterplay to the raids. This game perfectly showcases the issues I just described.

I need a billions priests and a billion gold to even be remotely able to defend against the Automata spam meaning less units and frontline and even then it seems to not really work. The issue is Automata are perfect in classical since high pierce armor means they can attack a TC breaking FH also. Barracks don't work since they are only counters and even then currently they are bad in most fights. There just seems no way to win this unless the other player is bonkers bad.

Hello there, I am a player relatively new to the competitive scene of Aom, as such I have developed an interest in playing Thor. In the order games I remember him being considered fairly strong, but I never really understood why, Could someone explain to me the basic Strengths/Weaknesses of him, Or give the basic build order? It would help a lot to know what his goal should be Thanks a lot

Hey hey so I posted this a year ago but does anybody want to play age of mythology like consistently like every few days a match or two? I’m in California and I usually play around 5 or 6 pm each evening and I just am wanting to play with people. Chill matches, not where we’re just doing nothing till heroic, but you know I keep putting beginner/intermediate on my hosted matches and getting super pros who demolish at classical age and I’d like to play the game with people on my level or maybe a bit better than me, but not so pro’s to where I can’t even get better because me and everyone are destroyed by a pro player as soon as we get to classical age My PSN: dusktheundying Xbox/microsoft: DUSKAFTERDAWN25

The "Retold" edition of AoM was a welcome surprise, and in so many ways, it's one of the best remasters I have seen, but... why the heck did they change to voice lines? The voices of Arkantos, Ajax and Gargarensis were so powerful performances, especially Gargarensis delivered his lines perfectly. The "Retold" voices aren't bad, I'd probably give them light praise if they were standing on their own, but I feel like they replaced some of the best voice acting in a video game with something that sounds almost as emotionless and rigid as AI voices. It's very obvious with Gargerensis... all his lines in the original are filled with thinly veiled threats, epic tonations, or sarcastic deliveries, while in "Retold", everything is said in a normal way. It seems like the script for the voice actors in the original had notes and comments indicating how the context should be, whereas no matter the context in "Retold", every voice line is just straight up read aloud on the spot.

The brutality of this tournament is clear. You play hard all week to get the finals and if you lose, well you have to back it up and do it all again next week. Two different finalists this week and absolute fireworks yet again.
