Age of Empires / World's Edge Studio – 21 Mar 17 Mods Single - Age of Empires - World's Edge Studio image 667×462 265 KB In version 2: Romans lose scorpions, but Legionary get plus 8 attack. Many Barbarian units are made faster. Savage barbarians surround your men. Many of your men will die from an ambush at the start of the game. Avenge your fallen brothers by venturing forth into the forest to destroy the barbarian menace. Alternatively, you gather all the relics to achieve relic victory. Be warned, the Barbarians can do the same. Note: many units have very high HP. This is to make the scenario more cinematic and drag out the ambush fights. Trees can’t be destoryed. They will regrow when chopped down. Towers take much longer to make. This scenario is based on the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest. Resources are infinite. 500 pop each player. Full house pop. To give the Romans a chance they have a basic base and a strong force in one place. This is a multiplayer scenario. 1 2 3 4 team colors Byzantines (Romans.) Team colors 5 6 7 8 are Celts (Barbarians). Best played unexplored.
Where is Town Center Podcast?
I haven’t seen it for a good while after it migrated to Hera’s channel. Is everything all right?

A Possible Direction for Ordo Cavalry and Bloodlines

Note: This isn’t a discussion about all Khitan bonuses or overall balance. It only presents a possible direction for improving the interaction between Ordo Cavalry (Ordo) and Bloodlines. Summary The whole idea can be summed up in one sentence: Keep Bloodlines, but let Ordo override its effect only for Ordo Cavalry. Instead of completely removing Bloodlines from Khitans, Ordo could have a more targeted interaction with Bloodlines: Bloodlines remains available. Cavalry units not affected by Ordo Cavalry, including Cavalry Archers, can still benefit from Bloodlines. Ordo Cavalry don’t receive the Bloodlines bonus, because it represents a different cavalry doctrine. The idea is to change the concept from: “Khitans don’t have Bloodlines.” to: “Khitans can choose between traditional cavalry and the Ordo system.” Currently, Khitans lose Bloodlines because of balance concerns. This is understandable, since their other civilization bonuses are already strong. However, removing an entire technology may create unnecessary restrictions. Bloodlines is not only a cavalry technology for one specific unit line; it also affects other possible strategies, such as Cavalry Archer compositions. A possible alternative is to let Ordo replace the traditional cavalry endurance provided by Bloodlines only for the units affected by Ordo Cavalry. In this design: Traditional cavalry can still follow the Bloodlines path. Ordo Cavalry follows its own specialized system. Cavalry Archer compositions remain possible with Bloodlines. This isn’t a suggestion to simply buff Khitans. Their other bonuses may still require balance adjustments. The main idea is to replace a global technology removal with a more targeted interaction, allowing more strategic choices while preserving civilization identity. This is only one possible design direction. The exact numbers and balance would still require testing and iteration.
Return to Rome campaigns are so incredibly miserable

Sorry but they really are trash, I understand that adapting an older game is always going to be hard but they alternate in between dumb lead-an-army missions were you can cheese and skip the intended path, and missions were you are constantly pummeled by endless hordes of enemies (Including elephants which are hard AF to counter if they are endlessly spammed and the base is protected by towers). Pathing is trash, and often times villagers become stuck and don't show up as idle so you miss out on a lot. It is not even that they are unwinnable, my issue is that they bog down into a joyless grindfest that just makes you feel exhausted and unaccomplished by the time you are done. I dead ass bought this DLC to finish off my achievements, and it was the first time that I felt angry and annoyed at the game. Crappy moneygrab

Difficulty Ratings 0: A very minor threat that is easy to overcome 1: A fair fight that makes things interesting 2: A difficult situation that requires some outside the box thinking 3: A highly difficult situation requiring lots of micro-management, unit-countering and precise timing 4: A constant struggle in which focus and momentum must be maintained at all times, as well as proper tactics and timing 5: Nearly impossible. Every move must be flawless or aggressive save-scumming is necessary to win Ismail: (yellow) I know nothing about this campaign, but quite a bit about the Persian nation. I’ve only played them once since I started these reviews (for the historical battle), but they were a favorite in the old days because of their elephants. They’ve gone through quite a few changes since then, and I’m pleased they’re finally getting their own campaign like they deserve. Hopefully, this campaign clears the high bar set by its two predecessors. The Red Hats: Difficulty 1 Turkomans (red), Georgians (grey), Armenians (orange), Shirvan (teal), Farrukh Yasar (dark blue), Aq Qoyulnu Scouts (green), Ottomans (purple) This mission is extremely easy, so much so that I was tempted to rate it a 0. It begins in the southeast with the player in command of a scout cavalry hero and a small band of mounted soldiers. The player must ride to the western center of the map amidst burning Turkoman buildings that are there for decoration, as well as several groups of Aq Qoyulnu scouts that patrol the space between. These men aren’t particularly dangerous, but the player has no upgrades past the feudal age and isn’t dangerous either. Though there are a few groups of soldiers to find in the area, I found none but successfully reached the destination. Upon arrival I was given a small number of villagers, a town center, a market, some economy buildings, an archery range and a stable with some houses and palisades. There were 9 groups of Turkomans around this base that I could approach with
