Text mods do not work at all for the Return of Rome expansion. The game completely ignores the key-value-modded-strings-utf8.txt file inside the \modes\Pompeii\resources\es\strings\key-value\ directory. In contrast, this exact same system works perfectly fine for the normal AoE2 base game.

GAME INFORMATION GAME BUILD #: 179158 GAME PLATFORM: Steam (probably doesn’t matter) OPERATING SYSTEM: Linux (probably doesn’t matter) ISSUE EXPERIENCED Units that gain extra projectiles through garrisoned archers inside them lose those extra projectiles after transforming into another unit, and have to be re-garrisoned for the extra projectiles to appear. FREQUENCY OF ISSUE always REPRODUCTION STEPS make a unit like the hussite wagon garrisonable and transformable (unit trait = 9; trait piece to whatever unit it needs to transform, like a hussite wagon copy with the same attributes; give units the task to garrison inside it, etc.) garrison enough units inside for extra projectiles to appear transform the garrisonable unit => it loses the extra projectiles ungarrison re-garrison => extra projectiles that are meant to be there in the first place appear again EXPECTED RESULT Garrison DPS and extra projectiles are recalculated for the new transformed unit.
