Or maybe this is copium… Whatever the origins… this version is feckless. The splash dmg is niche (useful on raids) Unit doesn’t not compete cost for cost vs many lancer unit types The unit doesn’t synergize with Grasslands, it desperately depends on the mechanics!! Now if it’s useless, how do we fix it? One idea is to keep the performance unchanged but reduce the cost and training time which then leverages Grasslands making the unit exceptional on sheer mass alone!! Another idea is to increase melee armor by 1 across the board. This will improve lancer bouts and other similar fights but not change spearman counters (at least not in feudal) and crossbow counters! 3rd idea is a general buff. If Grasslands mechanics improves to 100F discount cost instead of 25F and in the case of tribesman Grassland makes them complete free (95 resources saved). This buff helps with how FOOD intensive this faction is, and the cost savings can go towards massing more of this mediocre unit roster.

I have a shared xbox account for my xbox and pc (I downloaded via pc gamepass), tried playing age with my mates on pc and the 4 player limit is enforced. Iv tried everything from delinking accounts, clearing caches , uninstalling and reinstalling, got rid of overlapping apps like nvidia and overwolf. I even brought the game on steam but im still having the same issue. Pc isnt top tier but still good enough for 144fps gaming. Has anyone encountered this before and found a workaround?!?!

Camel Rider spam is in about every high level team game, and it’s incredibly hard to stop unless you also have an Abba on your team. Spears are not that great vs camels and crossbows are useless. Spear archer is laughable. Would love to have an option to go spear crossbow to at least stand a fighting chance.

I’ve been having success with GH in Team Ranked so I decided to try out 1v1. This is my first time playing against Sengoku. I saw him made Naginatas so I built stables and archery range for Torguud + Keshik + archers for spears. I had trouble dealing with his mixed infantry comp as his spearmen and naginata were just jumbled together, they molested my knights. Archers were good into spears as they should but only tickled naginata’s nuts in terms of damage. What’s the counter to this as GH? Raiding his vils with my superior mobility?

I’m a returning player. Last time I played was when Japanese, byzantines and variant civs came out. When I look up some build order I mostly find old build orders. Most of them between 6 months and 2 years old. Are these still viable?

since the last last patch on may my friend could not play 3v3 or 4v4 because for some reason the devs decided his steam deck was an xbox one who couldnt handle more than 4 players anymore however after days of researching he used the command "SteamDeck=0 %command%", this is done via game properties on steam and launching the game with specific options this tricks the steamdeck into thinking it is a generic pc without the limitations that the devs implemented for it, hope someone else can use this
