Issue Description When playing as Teutonic Order and choosing Kingdom of Castile commandery upon reaching Castle Age, the Faith of Castile aura buff only works for the Sacred Site that was already loaded on the map at the moment we pick this commandery. Any additional Sacred Sites we capture afterwards generate gold income normally, but military units standing near those sites receive no Faith of Castile buff, no healing, no attack bonus. What i like about RTS games is big battles. I have been playing aoe2 online for almost 10 years. I know how to do all the rushes. But I dont like to rush. It feels really stupid to play game where your opponent resigns in less than 20 min. I dont see the value in it. I often try to not hurt the enemy too much, so that he can still make a fairly decent army in imperial so we can actually play. I dont see the value of making 6 archer to kill a bunch of vils and ruin what could be a good game. Normally nobody wins against me in imperial. I boom very fast, I micro the repairing of trebs. Heal units in castle, rotate the armies. Do a slow push. Micro the army and onagers. All of that. I wish AoE2 was not made so much for rush. And had some of the mechanics like Rise of Nations, like generals, and territory attrition. Rise of Nations is better than AoE2, but the combat mechanics in AoE2 are much much better. Is AoE4 any different in this regard? Edit: So my question should have been is AoE4 more suitable for a rush game than AoE2? It does seem to be because walls and buildings cant block the units as efficiently as in AoE2?

At my age, I suck at almost every video game. Even since I was younger, I never played anything competitively except for chess (which I also suck at, but I don't care). I used to love RTS but forgot about them completely for ten years or so. I recently started playing Age of Empires 4, which is such a charming game with an extensive tutorial. I want to learn all the keybindings, as I usually prefer keyboard over the mouse. But it's a lot for me to memorize even in such a forgiving game. So I use some -- not a lot. I have no intention whatsoever to play it online. I just like to play in a very orderly fashion that I find satisfying. Seeing all the pieces neatly moving around towards an objective. My little army neatly divided in line into aligned squadrons that I can only assume would be completely ineffective in real life. It's relaxing. I love being bad at this game!

I get 60-70fps at 4K max graphics settings, using a 11900K, 3080Ti, 32GB DDR4 ram (non-XMP). CPU is at 100%. I feel like I should be getting higher FPS... Edit: I turned the game off so you can see in the charts that all the readings were maxed out while playing earlier in the charts ​

Well it took about a week but today I got my first ranked win!! I have been playing English. I rushed my first age up into abbey and made a King, immediately entering age 2 I made 2nd TC and stables. Made horsemen started raiding him a bit trying to kill outside villagers. Sending troops back individually to the abbey if they got low hp. I rushed into white tower and as this was being constructed I built a monastery and trading post, made 3 monks in queue, and placed the spawn point to relics, as each monk spawned I changed to a different relic so they would go collect it on spawn. Secured 3 spammed some traders. Made trebuchets from the white tower and siege production, once I had 5 and a pretty sizeable army of some spearmen, knights, horsemen, trebuchets and King I went on attack. I placed trebuchets at max range of his landmarks with the foot army on hold position and just won the game. Seemed so easy. I feel like a kid on Christmas!

I’m talking strictly about team games. How do I counter this unit? Yesterday, a Macedonian player mass-produced them. Our team had English Longbowmen, Templar light and heavy cavalry, some heavy spearmen, and Russian horse archers; their team built nothing but spearmen and these springalds. We had fully upgraded our English Longbowmen and horse archers at the blacksmith and university. We destroyed plenty of they fire springalds and took out many spearman, but the trades were always unfavorable for us. Both sides kept replenishing their troops, but after a few minutes, the disadvantages piled up against us, and we couldn't hold out. What should we do next time?

Hi, guys. So I found my way to Platinum for the first time as HRE. I know it is not a good civ. to start with and I don't have that much of time to practice, but, I would like to make some observations about Malians economy right now. I do think it's a bit too tuned up. I just played against a guy pressuring with horsemen in Age 2, going to Age 3 first, getting 4 relics to my Reignitz and starting to farm early in my Aachen (we're pretty much in an early farming meta right now, aren´t we?). I also happen to win the first fight, killing his sofas with pikes, his pikes with archers and adding some knights. But then when I got his base, like, his army was completely remade (it was on Gorge) and even with me trying to withdrawl, his infinite spam of sofas + archers was just overwhelming. I watched the replay and basically, once he sets his cattle around the Age 3 landmark, his unit + villager spam is just infinite. He had like 30 sofas in queue and more 25 already in the field. Absolutely insane. I wonder if I had gone Burgrave it would be any good but after watching the recorded game I just saw it wouldn´t be enough either. So... thoughts? Do we try to rush Malians all-in in Feudal or it´s GG, basically? I would be happy to hear your opinions on this.
