Greetings ladies and gentlemen. I have returned after a great long while to inform you that I have an announcement to make regarding my latest project. The Game Mode is called “Empires Brawl” It is currently in the works and is in Closed Alpha testing as of now. We are currently in version 0.4.5 with out release. I will leave a quick overview and a “tutorial” for the mode to help you understand what this new experience is all about. Why have I waited this long? There has been some frustrations around Tuning Packs as you all are very familiar with by now. They always break and they always don’t want to update. However, since one of my most desired Civ is coming here “Scotts” I am excited to work on something that I believe all of you would enjoy as much as we have in our early tests. I really hope this Game Mode pulls in a lot of attention and interest from you all, and I do hope it will be to your likings. So how does the mode work? It’s very straightforward, you build an army and try to destroy the enemy keep. If it’s an even group match e.g. 4v4, then whoever is across the playing field of yourself will be your “main” opponent on the field. You will likely stack with your allies and become a stronger wave. Everything costs Gold and nothing else. You have villagers but with a limit, they get more expensive each purchase. So trying to hold centre control is where your main economy will be built off of. It’s a Tug of War “Auto Battler”. You simply place your units and let them do the dirty work. At some point we are looking to allow you the Leaders to have control over their abilities only. This way you can make very valuable strategies and take control of the battlefield. Civilisations (when fully ready) in version 0.5 will have a lot of their stats for units changed. This way there will be some Civs if you come across as something specific, will be HARD countered no matter what you do, so you can only delay their victory and work with your allies to navigate the tr

Basically useless unit now since the nerf to DPS, Mongols rely on map control since they can’t wall and the horse archer was the primary way they achieved that, Now because of the shooting on the move DPS nerf the chip damage is essentially nothing, Knight buffs do not come anywhere close to compensating and are subpar units for early map control, easily countered by spears Destroyed the civ identity of the most fun civ in the game IMO, Needs some attention

This is my concept for a civilisation based on the Republic of Florence, I hope you enjoy it, and I would love to hear everybody's thoughts on it. Republic Of Florence: Italian City State Civilisation Variant. Focus: Trading, Technology, Gunpowder. The Republic of Florence is a concept civilisation with an emphasis on a powerful economy with a focus on trade that also has access to early and powerful gunpowder weapons and technologies. Civilisation Bonuses: City State: The capital town centre has 20% more health and can work as a market from the castle age onwards. Gente Nuova: Each active trader increases villager production speed by 4% up to a max of 60% Preserved Knowledge: Technologies are researched 10% faster per age (0/10/20/30%). Ageing Up is 15% cheaper and faster. Early Guns: Early bombards and arqebusiers can be built in the castle age. Gunpowder Arsenal: Florence has access to bombards, culverins, and ribauldequins. Florence can upgrade their springald emplacments into culverin emplacments in the Imperial age. Florentine Textiles: The textiles unique tech provides a + 75% boost to villager health points. Unique Units: Early Bombard: A 30% more expensive Bombard which can be built in the castle age. Arqebusiers (Handgunners): The Florentine unique handgunner unit. They can be built in castle age and receive a 20% discount in Imperial Age. Unique Buildings: Botteghe (Siege Workshop): Florence's unique siege workshop. Researches seige technologies at a 25% discount. Residential District (town centre): Florence's unique town centre which has to be built adjacent to the capital. It is 15% cheaper but takes 25% longer to produce villagers. Unique techs: Double Entry Accounting: Traders return 20% more gold. Researched from a market and available in castle age. Bills Of Exchange: Up to 5 traders can be garrisoned into friendly markets, including the capital tc, and generate gold without needing to travel. Researched from a market and available in castle age Ord

A few Variant Civs can be somewhat resource intensive, if they feature many unique Units and unique Buildings (such as Jin or Templars). But some are literally copy and paste, throw stuff around, and there you have it: a brand new Civ. Just like Jeanne D'Arc and Order of the Dragon, completely equal to their root Civ. Plus the re-skin potential. The Lancaster Demilancer for instance is a re-skin of the Holy Roman Knight. There is so much more the game could mix and match, but it doesn't. There are enough resources in the game to release a Variant Civ a month if the studios want to. The modded Civs are proof of that. Unique Civs are a different story, due to dozens of Unique Units/Buildings, and hundreds of voice lines. They are expected to be rare releases. But Variant Civs being just as rare seems crazy to me. Anyway, like most fans, I want to see more content, and I want to support Relic/World's Edge (before Xbox axes them down completely), but they seem to be the just chilling out and reluctant to monetize their game it seems.

We already know the Vikings are coming, so I think it would be great to start posting theories or wishes for the civilization in this thread as feedback, as well as compiling everything we know about the civilization so far. Unique Units Bondi (Spearman).- Has the famous Shieldwall ability in group. Yeah!!! Hirdman (Man-at-Arm).- Their heavy infantry, fast as any viking hungry for looting. Shield Maiden (Javelin Throwers).- There are many captures of them. Im curious which would be their unique ability, different from the other javelin throwers. Berserker .- I want to suppose is Shock infantry, like the Freeborn warrior and Condottiero, so “melee infantry” (not heavy, not light). *Crossbow Militia.- I gonna suppose their unique crossbow. I want to know from what period they gonna be… 900-1000 or 1000-1066? The first crossbows before 1050 AD were weaker than the proper war-crossbow with animal tendons as bowstring, so i gonna suppose they gonna make less damage or bonus damage. Their lath is made from wood instead of iron, take note. Knight Militia or Knight *.- For the way it was written in English, didn´t known if gonna be militia knight or knight. In any case, has the mail of the Norman period Heavy Knight. It makes me wonder if the option to convert to Christianity will start in the Castle Age, if it will be optional, or how it will work. They confirmed there will be some kind of “evolution” from the Viking Age to Scandinavian kingdoms, which sounds great. I went english 2tc against mongol trade earlier today. He got a boar next to the neutral market, so he put a tower to defend the boar AND the market. That worried me during game and I still don't know how to react properly in these situations. In general, I see that english can fight without getting behind in eco. However, in this situation, what would you guys do? I don't think scouting both markets before making 2tc is viable (and Beasty said that eng 1tc vs mongols is auto loss in his recent english video for instance), what do you guys think? I had a game with hre where I had 5 regnitz relics and a sacred site against an opponent with a bit of fishing (golden heights) and nothing but forts. I lost, but I thought it was because I played like total trash but then I looked at the game and he gathered more resources than me despite me having Swabia and the relics. So seeing that made me wonder if it’s actually possible to beat it’s value

Hey there, About 3 years ago I uploaded the educational series, 2 years ago I uploaded the 50 apm to conq (conq 1) and about a year ago I uploaded the slow gaming to conq3 series. I'm thinking, maybe it's time to do another. Are there any suggestions for things people wanna see? If I like a suggestion I just might do it. Bear in mind that I have been barely playing the game, but I'm still comfortable conq3, I'm just not familiar with newer civs and stuff. Also that slow gaming to conq3 series I think turned out pretty good and the people that did see it seemed to love it, so if you haven't seen it I wanna give it a recommendation. Hi. So I have been playing random AoE 4 team vs AI, for 4vs4, for a few years now and it's really addictive and really fun (the best part about AI games is that teammates are less likely to rage on each other, because most AI games result in the human team winning). I would go as far to say that perhaps AoE4 team vs AI games is the best co-op vs AI that I have played for any video game so far (especially because I like RTS games), and having 4 people is a blast. I am a low platinum player normally for team games, and the AI for AoE4 is tuned such that right now, if a human player leaves and you are left with 3 humans vs 4 AI players at the hardest difficulty, it can sometimes result in a loss (it depends on how good the remaining 3 humans are). My question is, how does the AI for Company of Heroes 3 (CoH 3) compare to AoE4? When you play CoH 3 team games vs AI, especially 4vs4, is the AI too easy, or just about the right difficulty for a platinum level AoE4 player? If a player leaves, does it become much more challenging in CoH 3? I am considering buying CoH 3, just because I did like CoH 1, and I think I may have a lot of fun in 4vs4 team games if the AI is just like the AoE 4.

Hi all is it just me or are Mods broken. Since this morning I am unable to choose any mods when creating custom games. Also All mods and My mods are greyed out in the mods menu. Is this affecting anyone else? Thanks
