The aura only appears when the Manor is in its placement preview state before construction. Once the building is completed, selecting it does not display the expected aura circle, even though the buff is active. Trigger Event: The issue occurs immediately after selecting a completed Kronos Manor. The aura is missing, despite being visible during the building preview phase before construction. Repro Steps: Play as Kronos and construct a Manor. Select the Manor after it has finished building. Observe that the Temporal Scaffolding aura is not visible. I disconnected towards the end cause of internet black out. we were heading towards settlement victory and there was only 20 seconds left. I think the game didn’t register when I disconnected I’m not sure. However I got the Elo, Every one got their Elo (The enemy team lost elo of course). But the match is no where to be seen. I can’t find it on AoM stats, Nor on my profile. I checked every single player and even those don’t have them on their profiles. I have the replay on my PC. The match was : MAP:Megalopolis Loki, Nuwa, Tezcatlipoca VS Hades, Demeter, and Gaia. The match was played on 7/18/2026, ~ 4:00 PM GMT+3:30 Trigger Event: I think me being disconnected right at the moment the game ended caused this issue. Repro Steps: I don’t know

Hi, I see there's a lack of content in youtube talking about units, gods, pantheons, and so on and as a new player, I enjoy consuming discussions on things like these, for instance what each Greek hero is best for. So, is there Somewhere I'm not looking where these discussions exist or do they simply don't?

A bit of background, I have been playing AoM since the original came out in 2002. I have over 700hrs on Extended Edition and over 500hrs on Retold. I'm an average player and I've mained Egypt for over 20 years. Here are my thoughts on why we lose so frequently: The Khopesh Swordsman was completely removed, eliminating Egypt’s only early raiding unit. In Extended Edition, the Khopesh cost only 30 food and 30 gold, trained in 8 seconds, moved at 5.8 speed, and dealt 1.5x damage against villagers and caravans. Its normal combat stats were intentionally mediocre, but that was not its purpose. It was a raiding unit. Retold removed it without giving the Egyptian roster a replacement. Egypt therefore lost not merely one unit, but the ability to create meaningful Classical Age economic pressure. Egypt’s remaining Classical Age army is composed almost entirely of narrow counters. Spearmen are anti-cavalry, Axemen are anti-infantry, and Slingers are anti-ranged. These units perform well when attacking exactly the target they counter, but their efficiency drops sharply against anything else. A Greek Hoplite, for comparison, is a durable mainline unit that retains 8 general damage while also receiving a 1.25x cavalry bonus. Egypt must correctly guess an opponent’s composition, produce the correct counter, and then continually switch production when the opponent changes units. Without the Khopesh, Egypt has no cheap, broadly useful Barracks unit that can raid, scout, reinforce quickly, or remain reasonably useful against multiple targets. Egypt has no normal human mobility unit until the Heroic Age. Norse players can produce Raiding Cavalry in the Classical Age, while Atlanteans can produce mobile Turmae. These units can attack, chase retreating soldiers, reinforce threatened locations, disengage from bad engagements, and force the opponent to defend multiple areas. Egypt’s Classical foot soldiers cannot reliably catch raiders or force favorable fights. In Extended Edition, the

When the effect ends, the unit dies, granting you Favor’; or the power isn’t working as intended. If you target another player’s unit it does NOT grant YOU favour? Can someone please clarify where the errors lies (and then fix it )

Ranged MU are very powerful across the board. Crocs, Manticore, Centaur, etc. all are really strong and at times witout any drawbacks. IMO they should have a lot less HP. Manage to get your cavalry on a Manticore in the backline? -> Get rewarded by actually taking down the Myth Unit (with a few hits). I see this as a general issue. Classical raiding MU nerfed to the ground and ranked MU constantly buffed. In general the game has become quite boomy amongst other things due to both of these facts. And sometimes it's simply impossible to take down a ranged MU. The Japanese crossbow has a similar issue, dealing a lot of dmg without drawbacks (speed matters not for this unit since Japanese has generally the upper hand in army strength.) Chieroballista is also suprisingly tanky.

I got tired of all this grinding at level 99, so I gave the currently strongest AI model some data from me and told him to search the web for more data. Data points I had: L19=3400, L20=3700, L21=3900, L22=4000, L23=4300, L51=10300 (from a TrueAchievements thread) plus my own screenshots: L45=9200, L46=9400. Best fit so far is a quadratic, rounded to the nearest 100: XP(L) ≈ round100( -0.82·L² + 275·L - 1543 ) It nails 6 of the 8 known points exactly and misses the other two by exactly one rounding step (100 XP). Interesting takeaways: The curve is concave - the per-level increase actually slows down (~+225 XP/level in the 20s, ~+200 in the 40s, ~+130 near the cap). No exponential hell. Level 98→99 should cost around 17,000-18,000 XP, so roughly one full Legendary run (15,440 XP). Total 1→99 lands somewhere between ~920k XP (this model) and ~990k XP (if it goes linear ~200·L+200 at high levels, which also fits my two screenshots perfectly but fails hard below level 25). That's 60-64 Legendary runs' worth either way. The two models only really diverge above level ~55, and the single L51 data point isn't enough to settle it. I would be grateful if you could provide more information - how much XP you can get at which level - I would check if it makes sense.

Can someone please tell me what my brother did in the last scenario “The Final Stand” of the Obsidian Mirror campaign? I never saw such glowing unit and also he doesn’t know how to reproduce it nor what it was but since he found the photo we are both curious and confused. My own research and gaming experience wasn’t enough to identify it yet. Thank you for your ideas and hints.

There were 4 calendars on the old Ensemble Studios website, each of them were available for one month. Unfortunately webarchive didn't save Odin's calendar from september.
