So I used to play Isis, whether I won or lost I get normal reactions. But lately I have been playing a more agressive playstyle with Poseidon, which involves early raids with like 5-7 Hippeus and then into 3 tcs. But what I notice is that I get a lot of hate. Today I lost a few games, said gg and they said “idiot” and “loser”. And if I win they say I can only win with raiding. Why do people rage so much for playing Poseidon 😂

In Retold, the Qilin heals nearby units. It can look like a generic “sacred creature equals healer” decision, but the role fits the Qilin’s older function better than another damage unit would. The Qilin is an auspicious beast whose appearance signals a sage or a virtuous ruler. The official Chinese Pantheon page describes it as heralding a golden age, while the Met’s object notes connect its appearance to benevolent rule. A healing aura turns that idea into a mechanic. The Qilin changes what happens around it. It does not need to act like a predator to matter. That is a simplification, but it keeps the creature’s role as evidence that the surrounding order is right. A hero buff or Favor bonus could express the same idea. In actual matches, does healing fit the Qilin best, or would one of those roles feel better?
