I play AOE 3 since i was 6. at 14 i switched from otto to dutch and NEVER played another civ in DE. (SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH IM NOT A NATIVE SPEAKER) whats the point of dutch civ? why it isn't the worst civ? just because there are other worse? they have banks and less villagers but its not like always the other civs are playing with 99 vills so the point of having more military population avaible is not that good. and because of having more military population the dutch units are worse next to other civs units. ruyter is a nice unit costs 75 gold (expensive) meanwhile dragon costs 80 gold, and you must create 2 ruyters for "replace" one dragon, so it remains expensive even with banks if you're not in late game. in late game the dutch army is poor due to lack of technologies. in early they are not really strong, they could be good in mid? anyways they lose the vills population advantage. like i said (really weird i admit) i NEVER played another civ in DE so i don't have any idea about the other civs economy. i just see lots of different units and techs the dutch would ever dream with. all this said, im going to keep playing the dutch since i love the civ, but im posting since i think i only win just when the other player is worse than me, dutch being a ballast

So… what can I do to improve? MY “CV” Long ago, a fallen hero formed this list, this is what I checked from it: (Lemme focus as if I was playing INCA, it’s my fav civ along Russia) Aging up times I can consistently age up from age I to age II before 3 minutes with this civ. Town Center Control I begin training my first villager within 10 seconds of the game starting. I use hotkeys to select my town center and to train villagers. I avoid having an idle town center before having enough villagers to age up. I routinely rally the villagers from my town center to their intended destination. (advanced) I effectively garrison & ungarrison my villagers to save villager seconds. Herding I accurately anticipate where a herd of animals will flee to, after being shot. I maintain an appropriate amount of animal carcasses on the ground. I routinely keep animal carcasses immediately adjacent to the town center. I herd multiple herds of animals during the transition phase. (I should do this more often) (advanced) I can shift click villagers onto individual carcasses to avoid idling. Scouting & General Explorer Control I understand the concept of an efficient scouting path. I utilize shift clicking to maximize scouting efficiency. I keep any additional scouting units I have on the move, and avoid them going idle. I scout the necessary resources around my base before the transition period. (advanced) I scout what my opponent is doing as they enter and exit the transition period. (My main go to, so I can raid hunters) Collecting treas
