I was just thinking about getting into multiplayer modding - potentially replacing all Lakota skins with Arabic/Bedouin ones, with alt voice acting/card icons/Home City layout, etc. - but I mostly play ranked matchmaking (which is where I'd spam Lakota if I could get this mod up and running). However, I don't know how mods get "certified" for multiplayer usage. I know I've heard of many texture packs that work in multiplayer (and especially custom flag mods), but some mods get flagged or banned from multiplayer usage. Is all this info just on the ageofempires.com mod site or can it be discerned via the mod manager in the game itself?

Ottoman are already way too OP due to Spahi, free villagers, Abus gunners, etc. it makes no sense that the devs gave them the gas lighting tech for free. I understand the history behind it, but from a balance perspective, they should have to pay for it like every other civ, they don't need this perk
