I am very excited about the upcoming Baltic DLC but that leaves me wondering if Microsoft will continue to develop more DLC and what civ should be next? i heard some rumors that they will be removing the f2p aspect of the game, with the 3 rotating civs is that true? if i already played the f2p version for some time, will i loose access? or will still be able to play it?

Here are my suggestions for audio changes that can be made in the next patch or whatever other future patches: European trading post military units make the regular military “OVER” sound effect instead of the Native American one after being created. The Minuteman unit and the United States Revolutionary unit uses Nathanial Black’s American dialogue or a completely new American dialogue instead of John Black’s dialogue. The United States Horse Artillery unit uses the same dialogue as the Falconet

Ok, so cool new DLC coming, two decent new civs . . and one very cool mechanic, customs houses generating rez from your opponents shipments. In normal game terms this is great for the new group of Dane players and an obvious target when playing against them, destroy the customs house, deal a serious blow to the Danes economy. Now Modders . . imagine almost every AI controlled Civ in almost every version of the game having access to some version of this. Taking out such an AI is more than just researching blockade then carving round the back farms or through the front barracks to take out the TC. In order to start cutting down the AI economy down now your going to have to deal with that customs house as well as hitting blockade or else your own shipments will still aid it. This automatically builds in a secondary "kill this" objective, one that ideally done long before the final assault and may have to be done repeatedly. Just think about it, every Civ having some sort of second building that really, the opponent needs to destroy before they move on to the town centre. We all know the pain of having to surpress docks in water levels. Why not a target of a similar strategic nature, but more obvious, for all civs on none water levels?

When The Baltic Powers DLC dropped for Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition, everyone was focused on the incredible Polish economy and their unique cavalry. But today, we decided to completely ignore rushing and focused entirely on the most disgusting, impenetrable defensive strategy I have ever seen in this game: The Polish Camp!
