So has had a win so far in his belt, but suffice to say there's been massive massive changes when it comes to the quality of gameplay from Numadan since then. I am a returning player, and I saw I had queued into a water map and presumed that would mean I should try a dock opener, and because of the close spawns, watch out for rushes too. Instead of went to build my dock and train a fishing boat, and there were zero fish anywhere on the shore or in the deep water. Using the wrong opener for this map lost me this game. I went back to the map’s UI to see if I could have known there were no fish beforehand, but no. The map’s icons, description, and map image all do not say in any way that there is no fish on this map. It is presumed I would just already know. Yes I know you can scout the shoreline, but why would assume I would need to do that when my experience with every other water map is that fish are plentiful? This is kind of ridiculous. There should be a no fish icon for maps with water that have no fish.

Not sure if it’s a bug or if I don’t understand how it works, but I have 16 notifications on the homepage of the game, unable to remove them. I just started playing this week and I haven’t found a way to mark them as read ….

What started this trend? this never used to be such a thing. I know some people dont look at ranked team games as seriously but I've gotten many games now where people just quit within the first 5min. Why is this a thing now?

Current A House United - “Each Active Keep grants +1 damage to Demilancers and Earl’s Guards, to a maximum of +4. This bonus can be increased to +6 with the Berkshire Palace.” I suggest the Lancaster’s A House Unified buff should also apply to Hobelar , Yeoman , and the Spearmen. Because building 6 keeps is already a pretty crazy requirement for most games and hardly anyone builds for the keep buffs as is. Even if you use both keep landmarks, you still need to spend another 3600 stone for the full benefit. At that point you might just be better going knights. Specifically I am only suggesting dark age and feudal units built in the castle age, as buffing handcannon’s/knights/siege would likely be too strong. Additionally, in patch 15.2.7380 Lancaster Castle was changed so instead of more units, each manor reduced the cost of each muster by 50 of each resource… but it actually reduces the cost by only 25 per resource. Is that a bug? Right now Lancaster Castle is considered extremely weak.

Dude knew my every move, where my army was, where my villagers were and where they were going. He wasn't using his scounts and when I went to attacked his villagers he knew instantly. Look at that zoom out lmao. Is the game filled out with cheaters now or am I just unlucky?

My market is always trading at bulk of 500 resources? The UI says that is trading at 100, but whenever I click, it always based on 500. Anyone also have this issue? When looking at the stats it seems pretty similar to the Springald in DPS. But when using it in game it feels like it does no damage?

I see it being banned in tournaments and praised in discussions but I don't get why GH is so valued by pros. They can't 2TC, they can't fast castle, their feudal army is predictable (always Khan+torguud) and eco seems slow to get going. ​ I'm clearly missing something that is obvious to everyone else. What makes them favorable in so many matchups against say Byz for example (this one I hear casters say every time, but they never follow with "why" GH is good into Byz)

The bug seems really inconsistent. Two buildings that touch exactly the same number of other buildings of the same type can receive different bonuses. The only thing I’ve figured out so far is that if you research City Planning first and then build a second Town Center next to your main Town Center, the main Town Center will still take 20 seconds to produce a worker. However, if you instead build the second Town Center first and then research City Planning, the main Town Center will benefit and take 19 seconds to produce a worker.

Does anyone else feel like some of the team colors in AoE4 are too similar? Green and dark green, along with pink and magenta, can be hard to distinguish both in game and especially on the minimap. During large team battles, it can be difficult to quickly tell which ally's units or pings you're looking at. The "Team Colors" setting isn't really a fix either, since it turns all allies into the same color and all enemies into the same color. In team games, I want to know which teammate is moving an army, expanding, or getting attacked. A lot of RTS games use more distinct warm and cool color palettes to make players of each team easier to identify at a glance. AoE4 could benefit from a similar approach, prioritizing color contrast over simply having more color options. Anyone else run into this or struggle with color pallet issues?
