Build Number: 16.3.11214.0 Platform: Steam Operating System: Windows 10 Issue: When selecting a mixed control group that contains both Jeanne d’Arc and a Royal Cannon, Jeanne’s Q ability is incorrectly replaced in the UI by the Cannon’s Artillery Shot ability. Her other abilities remain correct, but the Q slot is overwritten as long as the All Units tile is highlighted. Jeanne is a heroic unit, so her Q ability should have priority in the ability bar when she is part of the selected group. Trigger Event: The issue occurs immediately after selecting a control group that contains both Jeanne d’Arc and a Royal Cannon, while the All Units tile is active in the selection panel. Repro Steps: Have Jeanne d’Arc alive and at least one Royal Cannon. Select both units together so they form a mixed control group. Observe the ability bar while the All Units tile is highlighted. Hey, Age of Empires 4 really brings back the nostalgia of AoE1 and AoE2, but playing online with my friends is starting to get really frustrating. Developers, do y’all actually play this game a lot? I’ve been playing 5-10 AoE4 games with my friends online each week from season 12 through now season 13, and I distinctly remember it took at least 2 months for the Golden Horde bug to be fixed (where you could deploy/redeploy stables and then have like 150 Keshiks at 12-15min into the game). And how are raider elephants faster than knights? I can understand them being faster than any infantry, but seriously? An elephant can run faster than a horse? And can you please allow more time for matchmaking in order to match closer ranked players instead of just throwing games together faster. My friend and I play a lot of 2v2 and during our last 5 straight games, we won ONE game and lost FOUR games, yet I only lost -3 total ELO…because EVERY SINGLE TIME we’re playing against people higher ranked than us, so looking backwards it was loss (-11), loss (-1), loss (-17), win (+35), loss (-9)… it’s not fun to play people obviously better than us and to have no chance. The match where we only lost -1 elo was against a Conqueror 1 and a Diamond 3…for reference, I’m a Gold 3 who has occasionally gotten to Platinum 1, and my friend oscillates from Gold 2 to Gold 3. And the Conqueror 1 was even a smurf account ( 大麻 ) if you want to do anything about it…he’s got 126 games played TOTAL only starting in Season 12 between 1v1 and 2v2 ranked and an average 74.6% win ratio? And then even though I like playing sometimes with random team mates, there are so many people who artificially reduce their elo by joining a game and immediately disconnecting? There’s ZERO repercussions for it, you can just queue up another game and quit that one too. I would imagine it’s pretty easy to write code that shows if a person quits in a certain amount of time of the game starting (like 5 min) or if they produce

I don't belong in this ELO! :D I actually played Jin, for like the third time ever. got a good spawn, went SS victory, keeps + towers + that auto horseman defense, chat started bickering internally, and 2 or 3 players dropped out from the get go so the lobby was small. plus my spawn was great, next to sacred site, and no one behind me. Very satisfying :) p.s. I was red

A player with minimum tc idle time vs a player with good game mechanics (but he forgets to produce vills during intense moments) who's gonna climb rank higher?

When going Fast Castle you typically cannot rely on sheep only, since you might run out of food shortly after reaching Castle Age. One option is to move out to a deer pack in Dark Age and then go back to sheep if your opponent is aggressive in Feudal. Another option is to go berries first and then switch to sheep if you are pressured. Deer gather faster than berries, but if you include the walking time to the deer pack and then back again, is the difference compared to berries that big in this situation? Basically I am trying to figure out how near the deer pack needs to be to your TC for you to take deer first if you suspect your opponent will be aggressive in Feudal.

Returning player here. What are the best team game civs? Someone that is viable and fun to play, could be powerful. Also, how are the Jin?

Hi, I had the idea of playing an ffa with another friend with 2 ai, so a 4v4 ffa. Is there anyway of making it anonymous though, so we don't know who is AI or not? The problem is you have to invite your friend to the lobby / you will see their faction on the load screen so I am not sure how to get around that. Any ideas?

So im pretty new to the game and ive heard about lots of playstyles and terms but im not sure i fully understand them or their purpose. So ive heard about: Feudal Rush 2 TC Fast Caslte But i have some questions about their specifics. Does 2TC mean you always build a second tc in feudal or does a second tc in castle also count? If you go 2TC do you usually stop there or do you sometimes make a 3rd or 4th tc, and if so is it always before castle? Is the purpose of 2tc to win in imperial since you will have much more resource production, or win in castle or what? If you go fast castle do you ever go 2nd tc in castle? Is the point of fast caslte to get all the relics first or is it to get castle age units and upgrades then rush or what? Is the point of feudal rush to win in feudal or just set the opponent behind then go 2tc or castle yourself? I know thats a lot of questions but thanks in advanced to whoever can provide me with some knowledge.

New to AofE IV via PS5 and I'm loving it, bought two expansions but obviously it no longer runs after the latest update. Is it that hard to rollback the update? Is it common practice for Microsoft not to address such issues with any sense of urgency?
