Les amis, on se retrouve pour un nouveau cast. On est dans le Zite Classic 4, tournoi organisé par EGCTV. N'hésitez pas à aller les checker comme d'habitude. Ici, on est dans la Silver League. Donc top 17 à top 32 des meilleurs joueurs au monde. Donc il y a 1750 dollars de cash prise, c'est le même format que l'événement principal qu'on peut voir avec Marine Lord, B wam et cetera et cetera. Mais en BO3, donc c'està-dire qu'ils sont 16 joueurs, ils sont répartis en deux groupes de 8 joueurs et donc ils affrontent tout le monde dans leur groupe tout simplement. Donc ça fait sep matchs par joueur et après le top 4 continue dans l'événement. Les quatre moins bons sont éliminés. Donc encore une fois la différence c'est que dans l'événement principal c'est en BO5, ici c'est en BO3 et on va suivre les joueurs français donc Elona et Downfall. Heureusement ils sont dans deux poules différentes. Donc ça c'est très très cool. Ça va leur donner plus de chance de pouvoir se qualifier tous les deux. Euh et donc Elon ici c'est le joueur qu'on suit. Il y en a qui jouent chinois en bleu et en face nous avons Scarlett Deville qui joue français en sien et donc BO3 le premier à deux victoires l'emporte. On est en compagnie du cher Chuck pour cast Chuck tu nous disais inversion des nationalités. Elona qui joue chinois qui est la nationalité de Scarlett Deville et Scarlett Deville qui joue français qui est la nationalité d'Élona. C'est beau. C'est magnifique. C'est Ouais. On s'échange vite fait pour une game. C'est ça. On voit ce que ça fait. Changement de point of view en fait. Même si Ouais, je suis pas très confiant pour j'avoue. Somehow lucked out and didn’t play French in 10 games. This is my second account so you’ll have to trust me on the pic. For real. I credit that big time. But the difference for me to get from gold 3 to plat 3 was just learning what other civs do. Japan, they spear rush then fc. HRE always fc. OOTD, always fc. For all of these I just wait for them to castle then ram rush after being annoying in feudal. Malian, doesn’t matter - must attack in dark age - same for Biz. Relentlessly attack those eco monsters. English - have to scout because so many metas. French can eat a big one. They only rush and I really still can’t figure them out. I think a gold 1 French could still beat me if the knight, archer, ram. My only chance is a map with lots of trees, and it doesn’t feel like there are many right now. Still not sure with the others because I find I don’t play them much. I use KT, never 2 TC unless my opp does first (and still rarely) and I almost never touch stone. I find KT keeps to not be worth the resources. I rarely go past early castle (KT is not great in imp). Heavy spear, archer and siege combo is really tough for other civs I find. So easy to just switch to normal spear they crossbow. Oh, and I play on controller.

I thought max numbers would be Beasty at around 1k viewers. Well its nice to see and gives me hope that the game might even grow instead of decline :)

Next year will mark the AOE 30th anniversary. XBOX generally celebrates these anniversaries and web already seen a great show for the 25th anniversary. Do you think we'll a dedicated show and what would you like to see or what do you think could be announced?

Devs, since villager kills were removed from the total kill count, could we at least get a separate statistic for Units Killed and Villagers Killed ? It feels like a step backward to remove villager kills from the post game statistics, especially since they were tracked before. Villager kills are a huge part of the game and are useful for understanding how much economic damage each player dealt. Please I beg you add this back to the game!! :)

When I began an attack with my army my mangonels which I set to target maugdai just went idle and didn’t fire even when I didn’t set a target and then when I tried to put down a keep my vills just stood still and didn’t do anything with the outline of the building still there

At first Pilgrim Flask seems almost forgettable. But sometimes the smallest abilities hide an incredible amount of real history. Holy water and genitalia, let's go.

Straight to the point: Display active governors alongside their respective levels. While this isn't an issue in the early game, it becomes very easy to lose track of governor levels during the mid and late game. Whenever I play this civ and I finish a match, I often realize I completely forgot to level up one or two of them. Allow selecting both villagers and worker elephants in the same control group. Currently, if you configure the settings to select only "vills," you can't include worker elephants in that same group. To be honest, having to manage them separately is quite annoying.

I killed a prelate and a couple of vills, had more vils, built counters (knight to counter mma and archers for spearmen + archers) yet he was able to field a much bigger army than mine and somehow even reached castle first. He literally had his cake and ate it too. I'm gold so I'm trash but this is frustrating.

Say whatever you want delete the game, cry... but here's why these strategies are childish and not fair: 1) Your opponent may have lower level and is not aware of this strategy (also he may be new to the game). 2) If you're doing this using Lancester and your opponent has Japan he can counter you because he has Samurai since dark age, with another civ it will be more difficult 3) You're abusing civ's strengh to get an easy win without too much effort 4) You will probably lose if you play again with same opponent or with someone who knows this strategy that you probably copied from someone else 5) You think it's funny but you're just making someone upset because he was not aware of this strategy Just grew up Edit : Also if the game let's you play against the same player, you'll be able to really test your skills and he won't be able to win with his cheese strat Edit 2: All your comment are important and will be taken into consideration. Please note that in all video games many people use exploits to have easy wins. In aoe4 I'm aware that you can counter these some strats but take into consideration that the devs have made several changes to the game because they figure out that some players are using some weaknesses to get easy wins.

April Fool!.. What do you mean it's not April? Today's "guide" is a bit special. It's about Age of Empires IV when it released, and the OGs know that China was a terror back then. For the neophyte, here is an explanation of some of the outdated jokes. Step 1: The hole in Mountain Pass was a lot smaller. The maps were also one size bigger (for example, a 3v3 map was today's 4v4 size). Steps 4 and 5: Fire Lancers were a menace. They had similar performance to today in fights, but they had massively increased torch damage, to the point that people would stack 100–140 of them and rush all of someone's landmarks to knock them out of the game. It is also noteworthy that people could be eliminated individually if their landmarks were sniped (ironically, that made the Chinese the best civ against this specific strat). Steps 6 and 7: Siege was a lot different then. Mangonels and Nest of Bees killed everything that didn't outrange them. Chinese Bombards could go up to 900 HP, making them as tanky as an elephant and causing one of their only proper counter (Springalds) to lose against the very thing they were supposed to counter (think spearmen vs. knights). I just lost this 1+ hour game vs a french as Jin. He went college of artillery with a mass of canons, ribauldequin and catapults. Am I supposed to try and match his siege? It didn't seem to work at all. My units got obliterated by the time they reach front line. What am I supposed to do here?

/37 I know that coaching comes up periodically. I guess I've got a few questions - Which coach? - Are any in an Australian (ish) timezone? I really don't feel like getting coached at 230am. - Is it worth it? How have others found it? I am not particularly good (relatively consistently in Diamond), and I don't have a lot of time to play - maybe 3-4 hours a week. But I'm thinking that it might help in allowing me to get better without just grinding. Essentially, spending a few hours with a coach will make a dramatic(?!?!) increase in skill? Anyone feel like sharing their experience?

Hi everyone, I'm a Diamond-level player who mains Order of the Dragon (OOTD). I've listed my current strategies for each matchup below, and I'd love to get some advice or feedback on them. Fast Castle (Regnitz): Ayyubids, Chinese, English, French, Golden Horde, HoL, Japanese, Jeanne d'Arc, Jin, KT, MD, Mongols, Rus, Sengoku, Tughlaq Feudal Rush: Byzantines, HRE, OOTD (mirror), Zhu Xi 2TC: Abbasid Undecided: Malians, Ottomans, Delhi As you can see, I rely heavily on Fast Castle into Regnitz Cathedral. I feel like OOTD is way too weak without this setup, so I usually avoid other strategies. If there are any other viable strategies that can win against these civilizations, please let me know. I would appreciate any advice!
