I am a 1203 ELO player who is proficient with all civilizations. I mean this to say that I’m not just some random noob throwing out casual talk. I watched the live stream of Age of Empires IV’s release, and I also appreciate the community’s invitations to me. What I mean by this is: gameplay style is more important than game balance. Now, back to the topic: when the Mongols were released, and in their campaign, we could feel their unique movable buildings—an absolutely groundbreaking design! But

I got conq! Finally after almost 200 games. For some moment I thought I would be stuck in diamond, but after watching some more games and practicing I was able to reach it. Road to conq3 now (or all the way back to diamond who knows? xD). Ty tobiasurne for the game that got me conq, I appreciate your words :D

Sengoku has hit an all time low for popularity especially in higher elo brackets. While the civ did receive some heavy nerfs I am surprised there is no one out there experimenting with the civ since it seems to be one with a lot of different possibilities and a unique playstyle. Is the civ really that unfun when its not grossly overtuned?

Why is it so hard to fix for Microsoft multitrillion-dollar company? Application searches for game like 10 minutes, so ones tries to restart searching but when "Stop search" is clicked, usually application is still searching for the game, only different is that search windows is minimized. One needs to restart application completely and after that suddenly game is found in few seconds. Application sometimes shows only searching window for one player in group while others see lobby instantly without even seeing search window. Application sends wall of text when someone leaves lobby instead of just saying "Player X left, searching restarts". Application sometimes crashes when game is found. Application sometimes crashes during loading. When someone crashes during loading others need to wait like forever to see actual game load. Microsoft has Starcraft II and other productions where matchmaking works great. If Relic really is that bad that they cannot do all these things properly, why not just consult other parts of Microsoft company and get all required tech to make it work properly. Shit, even AI maybe have better shot at fixing it.

On PlayStation I start a 2v2 with a random against hard ai. Nothing too challenging. Games starts and about 9 mins roughly 1 ai attacks me, no issue build some units and fend them off. All good. 10 mins mark hits and the random sends 3 pings to their base, I look over and they are being attacked from the other ai. I ping back once to let them know I see it over all the units I have. Within 30 seconds they rage quit. Like no, I don’t want to match with roblox kids that rage quit because they are terrible. No thanks. If they put a message in the chat or something that woulda been fine but that was pathetic. Just wasting peoples time.

I mean the kept saying im noob and and why he is in the same team with me And i act fine i told him i im noob But when match goes his performance was very bad i played like i was alone and give him one king

Since either the last patch or the one before I'm not able to observe games as the button is greyed out. Is this a known bug?

Why am I, as a Silver 2 player, getting matched against a Gold 3, level 600 player with such a huge skill gap? The queue time was literally around 10 seconds . I would much rather wait a little longer and get matched with someone closer to my skill level than get an instant match that feels completely unbalanced. This matchmaking makes no sense. If any developers are following this sub, please consider improving the algorithm. I think most players would be okay with slightly longer queue times if it resulted in fairer matches with smaller skill gaps.

Personally, I dislike JD and OOTD. I have my gripes with Macedonian as I feel their landmarks are not very synergistic with their units and costs. JD feels like “French but with hero”. OOTD is just HRE but units are better. At least change the functions of some of the landmarks like with the rest of the variants!
