Dear Development Team, I love Age of Mythology: Retold, but there is a major issue: the over-saturation of Hephaestus. Currently, Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades all share Hephaestus as a Mythic Age option. This leads to severe late-game homogenization, where all three gods end up playing nearly identical strategies. I propose replacing Hephaestus with Persephone (Queen of the Underworld) exclusively for Hades. Solve the Meta: This forces Hades to have a unique late-game identity, breaking the “everyone picks Hephaestus” meta. Thematic Accuracy: Lore-wise, it is perfect to reunite the King and Queen of the Underworld. New Potential: Persephone opens doors for unique mechanics, such as underworld-themed myth units or agricultural bonuses, making the Hades experience feel fresh and distinct. Thank you for your hard work on this amazing game. I hope you will consider giving Hades his Queen!

Hey guys, just wanted to bring attention to some of the things that are still not fixed in the latest DLC. I hope that this post will be seen by some of the devs and hopefully most of the stuff fixed before we move to the next DLC (Hopefully, there's more in store for Retold) Myth units - upgrades (pic 1) Most of the myth units in the game change their appearance when you get them their dedicated update. Sadly, 3 (5 if you count the Axolotls) do not change their appearance in the Aztec DLC. Creating new models is costly, so I would go around it in a different way. Some units in the Chinese DLC do not change their appearance but get unique effect around them. This could work for all 3 (5) units in this DLC. Bunnies would get their burining eyes, Butterflies would get glowing black wings and Snakes would get fire and venom dripping from their mouths. Not sure what for the Axolots, maybe a glow? Tent (pic 2) As of right now, Aztec tent is reskinned Norse tent. It's the only tent in the game that is not a unique model. Furhtermore, it does not show being damaged and just disappears. It would be great if the devs could return to this one and give it a dedicated model that shows signs of destruction when damaged. Foundations I just want to start by thanking the devs that they did include new foundations for War Hut and Noble's Hut. Sadly, there are still some foundations that either need fixing or brand new models. Temple (pics 3): As of right now, the temple is using Greek model for its foundations which is far better than the Atlantean one they were using previously but all the other factions have dedicated unique foundations, only Aztecs reuse one. Calpulli (pic 4): This one feels like something unfinished. The foundations change from small squire to wide squire and that's it. The workes are inside the foundations when they change. I would consider those as the ones that need the rework the most. Armory (pic 5) This one uses Atlantean foundations which just looks wrong

Issue: sometimes ocelotl dont jump having to use ability twice when i order to jump a group of aprox 10 ocelotl https://youtu.be/mboDBnLXoMI is this a bug or they only jump in groups of 5 max? Trigger Event: trying to hit a unit with ocelotl by surprise to kill it in one shot, so i dont know if this is intended to prevent 50 jump and kill a colosus or something Repro Steps: watch video

how many meters has to be the unit to be attacked in hold position? how many meters the unit follow the target in defense position?

I’m a total noob, no RTS experience but I picked up Retold cause I loved the original as a kid. The jump from medium to hard on the base building levels (my favorites) is too much: on medium, the AI doesn’t apply any pressure and I can absolutely roll to the point there is no challenge and it’s not fun. On hard, the AI hits mythic before I can get my economy going, and every wave is a struggle not to lose my entire army. I’ve started using hot keys to control different parts of my army, but I still feel like my micromanaging ends up hurting their ability to fight. Any tips/guides?

The first playoff is almost over. Upsets, wild moments and some insanely high level Age of Mythology has already been played. My personal favorite game so far was arguably one of the most clean Odin-Heimdal games I've ever seen by HUSKSUPPE. Ive validated the files and updated my drivers and VC_redist and i still get this issue. Whenever i start the game i get this issue and it then crashes to desktop soon after Any help will be appreciated
