Game Version: Standard Build Number: 606137R Platform: Steam Operating System: Windows 11 Issue: rmTriggerAddScriptInclude is incompatible with using rmTriggerAddScriptLine When using both of these functions in a random map script, I would expect that both the include statements generated via rmTriggerAddScriptInclude and the lines included via rmTriggerAddScriptLine would end up present in the generated trigtemp.xs, but in fact the prescence of at least one rmTriggerAddScriptInclude seems to cause rmTriggerAddScriptLine to be completely ignored. Repro Steps: Create a mod with a random map .xs script. In that script, attempt to include a trigger script file via rmTriggerAddScriptInclude and some individual trigger script lines via rmTriggerAddScriptLine. Run the map and examine the generated trigtemp.xs file. The lines added via rmTriggerAddScriptLine will not be included.

Repro Steps: Start the mission and reach the point in which you are granted control of the temple.

1) Shift-clicking units off of building construction seems to be bugged if you give the unit multiple commands. I only noticed this during building construction. One command after the build works, but if you give it multiple commands after finishing construction, it stops building and goes to the command as if you hadn't shift-clicked. 2) Camera randomly stops panning when moving the mouse. Everything else still works, but for some reason the camera locks mid-game and can't be moved no matter what. I've played about 25-30 games in this patch and it's only happened twice, but I've had to resign both times. Both times it's been mid-game around 10 minutes in. 3) Stuttering is getting bad. Skirmish and multiplayer. My pc is nothing special but I don't have this issue on other games. Have tried every combination of settings adjustments. Sometimes I get 0 stutter, sometimes I have to resign 30 seconds into the game because it won't stop skipping. Seems to get either a little better or a little worse with each update since it first started happening in February. Anyone else noticed this stuff lately?

Even though I have loved this game for a long time and it perfectly captures my sense of nostalgia with its music and atmosphere, the gameplay is simply not in a good state for 2026. The most basic example is the “attack move” command: when units are on an attack command and encounter the enemy, they do not engage. They simply walk right past enemy units and buildings, getting themselves killed by the enemy in the process. Because of these persisting problems, which I have pointed out on the forum before, I decided not to purchase the newly released Obsidian Mirror DLC. The current state of the gameplay completely ruins the fun and makes it impossible to enjoy the game. I truly hope the development team finally takes these issues into consideration.

This make gameplay bad

The los requirement for volcano means you basically have to click on top of your units for it to go off. Extrememy tilting. It feels so bad to use. Awesome animation and effect, but so stupidly clunky to click.

When a building is rotated, its destruction animation will no longer match its orientation. This visual bug affects almost every building in the game, including wall segments. I know this is only a minor issue, but it has been present in the game since launch, and almost 2 years later, it still hasn't been fixed. I've reported it multiple times on the official forum to no avail, so I'm posting it here instead to increase visibility.

One funny thing about the Norse is that their Bronze and Iron Shield Turned into Heater and Kite Shields for the Infantry while Throwing Axemen and Cavalry kinda stuck with Heater Shields. While the game doesn't really ties to Historical Basis, the only problem were the Bronze/Heater Shields as it's basically a super Late Shield Type where Soldiers are already Well Armored in Plate. Basically I think the Bronze/Heater Shield model need to be replaced by just a larger Round Shield, despite stepping on the Greeks who uses round shields, it's still different as in the Greek Aspis has a bit more rounded shape in the shield while the Norse/Vikings shields are flat, where the Iron Shields could just make the Shield Bigger but for Norse Cavalry they could just get the Kite Shields. TL;DR Bronze Shields should just make the Norse Round & Flat Shield bigger rather than turning it into a Heater Shield. Iron Shields makes the Round Shield even bigger, but Cavalry get the old Heater Shields instead.
