Moukes are meant to spawn based on the available pool, meaning you should be able to whittle their numbers down faster than the pool replenishes. But it seems due to this bug you can basically constantly have moukes popping out, at every single spawn point. I wonder also if due to the very low Jin play rate leading to the majority of players not necessarily understanding or knowing what should be happening with Jin, if this isn't necessarily noted as much as it would, compared to if the civ were better known/played more. I also wonder how much of an impact on winrates the dragon pavilion drop has(placing next to an opponent and essentially feeding infinite moukes into them). Considering the fast age up /food hoovering combined with the bugged mouke deployment. I say this as someone that just watched my tributary infinitely defend itself

Hi, i'm a total noob, focusing on learning the game by mastering HRE. I'm beating hard IA always, so i might try a couple of ranked games. I'm doing every times, Aachen + Catedral, focusing on getting relics and going all in with 25/30 men at arma + 20 archers. The question is, wich other build orden and comp should I "master'" before going ranked games?

So far I've been picking western mercenary contract every time to build up longbows until imperial as this feels pretty good most of the time and then I'll normally end up spending my oil on Streltsy or siege. I'm pretty new to the game so not super savvy about how to adapt my playstyle depending on every matchup (there are quite a few to learn!) and have just been focusing on getting better at a pretty basic build order instead. I assume however there are times when it would be better to go for Eastern or Silk Road contracts? Are there any good rules of thumb as to when to go for the other ones, e.g. against particular civs or against certain rushes perhaps? Cheers

Mirrors.. we all hate them, bad luck they say, but you have to play them sometimes, how do you usually play them? It might depend on the civ, but do you prefer sticking with your meta build and hope to do it better than your opponent or are you the type of guy that will try to do something really weird to throw your opponent off? Have you ever tried playing really aggressive or really passive , opposite of what your civ does? From my experience, every time I had to play a mirror, the person who tried stuff and played weird usually lost. Now I don't know if that's something and it might be really dependant. The other day I played a RUS mirror. I thought I might as well just play standard, go castle and do everything cleaner and more optimal . What did my opponent do? They made 5 spears to torch my unsafe cabin and aged up to castle. Sure, he torched a cabin, but dude invested 5 spears and forced me into 1 archer from a building I already wanted. I decided to go for pro scouts, who knows? Might have cost me the game. I ended up taking all deers on the map while he took all the relics. They massed horse archers so I responded with mass VET horsemen and VET archers. I lost badly. He kited me to oblivion and had a decent mass to one shot or two shot horses. For every 5 HA I lost more horsemen. Every trade was worth it for him. What did I learn from this? Maybe next time don't try to be a smartass and counter him and try to outmass the same unit like a baboon. Your thoughts
