Everytime I stop playing for a few days, coming back feels toxic work-like, except the bullying boss is myself. For a while i only played campaigns, and not multiplayer. I was decent at campaigns, even finished Aoe3 campaigns and a decent chunk of AOE4 campaigns. But i recently started playing multiplayer in aoe2, now i knew it would take me time to acclimate but i feel like i keep trying but i lost the last 7 matches brutally even though i am actually trying (watching videos, trying to apply build orders, hotkeys, etc) How long did it take you to get somewhat decent? What kind of effort goes into it?
