Your plus one attack and free and instant, and you don't need a blacksmith, so you just get it instantly. So your your starting scout benefits from it, and then any additional scouts benefit. So your starting scout becomes so strong early feudal age. Like if you have your starting scout forward and your opponent's trying to wall, your starting scout is going to kill that that walling bill so fast. It normally takes 10 hits to kill a vill, but with the forging it takes eight hits. So it knocks it down by two hits. It's pretty big. Uh, okay. Vald Deelva game number one. Liry playing as the Burmese and Hera playing as his first civilization pick the Kurr. Now Liry played Kamur earlier today. He picked them to counter a fast castle play by the shoe from Mr. Yo and he got there so much faster. Right. The build was disgusting. He went into Scorpions. He had so much pressure. Is there something that Liri can do on this map to try and counter a play like that from there? Well, you know, I think this is an interesting situation to start a best of seven final because Liry has a very late pick here with his civ. So, this is not a game plan that he weighs highly at all. If he's able to win here, he starts the final taking down Hera's number one civ. That is not often. Most people are going to save their number one pick for later on in the series. So, I think if you lose, it's like, okay, whatever. Back to the drawing board. I still have my best saves. As for how to handle it, I think the first thing we need to point out is the the amount of food that they're going to be able to bring back to their TCs. Both players went out to the sides to get some copy bars. Hara's actually stayed out there a little bit longer. Just to start off on a positive note so this doesn't end up sounding as hate because I'm just genuinely wondering. Sebastian is an amazing player clearly getting better and better and he seems like a very nice person. But I've been wondering for a while now each time it's mentioned. Sebastian is frequently talked as the next one to start winning tournaments and it's always pointed out that he's still young. Correct me if I'm wrong but he's the same age as Liereyy and only a couple years younger than Hera, players which are both dominating every tournament. So why is Sebastian mentioned as the future when there is no realistic time window where he will be able to play without Hera or Liereyy challenging for the titles?

Just feel like that option, that is always available to be changed and never is could be reworked to create some stupid games for fun But I can see the OPness not lasting long and getting bland quickly

ELOs I'm confused about a string of the team games I've been losing. Our lowest ELO opponent was higher ELO our highest ELO player. Why doesn't doesn't the matchmaker try to balance the ELOs better? Or does this mean we were fighting a pre-made? If so, why didn't the matchmaker add a higher ELO player to our side.

I love this game so much, i think its 10/10 but they really need to make these resigners suffer some consequences man. I usually play black forest 4v4 normal games, i have to atleast per a day go through a game of people that want to forfeit (mainly because they lost a stupid vill fight) 3-5 times before not experiencing again today. I feel whoever resigns so early or so frequent should have an instant ban on online games they can join for atleast 5 days starting (unless the resign is reasonable)

Every single game around my elo 1000-1100 is doing FC on every map. I tend to go early aggro. Either scout rush or archers. Whatever I do, i end up later in castle, pulling the short end even though I took the early initiative, they built barracks up to classic FC buildings, even like 4 spearmen, and yet I get to age later and get rushed with knights. what am I doing wrong?

Yeah they dont get bloodlines or thumb ring etc etc, but they're so much better than cav archers out the gate it's not even an issue 1 pierce armour base, cheaper, more hp, more range, faster move speed, more LOS, 90% accuracy (??), bonus vs rams and cav and the biggest thing, much much better base attack time. They are far better at hit and run and dealing with their counters, basically restricting you to exclusively skirms until malons comes in and then it's just hoping they missplay I don't like this trend of civs being being built around a single playstyle or unit which is required to be insane or the civ is irrelevant. They're so geared towards bolas that if you nerf it then mapuche are never going to see play, but right now it's this linear game of either dealing with their batshit unit and winning or not and losing. It's not enjoyable going into a match knowing what they're going to do without even checking

If you have megarandom or nomad in there they're going to get voted in 100% of the time. They might as well just make them the dev picks and force people to pick between maps we rarely see rather than 1 we currently have and another we get every second rotation

I noticed they have fire archers, who have an insane range, and their traction trebuchets in the last mission I played fired multiple rocks each shot, so I’m thinking they focus primarily on archery and siege weaponry. They have only appeared in the final missions of each previous campaign, so I don’t know anything more about their campaign, meaning it might feel a bit fresh in comparison. Let’s get into it. The Imperial Seal: Difficulty 3 Yuan Shao (orange), Luoyang (green), Liu Biao (teal), Dong Zhuo (purple), Dong Zhuo’s Raiders (yellow), Dong Zhuo’s Guards (grey) This mission is somewhat unfair, and requires a bit of trial and error to get right. It begins with the player in control of a mounted hero who can apply a one-time AOE blast as a special power, but is otherwise not particularly strong. This hero has a small army of infantry, crossbows and a few light cavalry in the southeast, surrounded by some military buildings under the control of Yuan Shao. Yuan Shao himself is an ally with a fortress town in the east which is heavily guarded and trains soldiers, but only sends a few bands of raiders early and then does nothing else. He occasionally gives troops and resources until the player progresses into the mission a bit. Just needed to vent, series of 4 games and actually wild how bad they were. First one, I get the one closed map I'm forced to play....try my best, but still lose because my opponent has hundreds of games on closed maps and I am still learning them. Second one, It is lagging so badly, but I try to play it out, I lose my villager to a boar and then look for my second boar only for it to be BEHIND a Woodline, impossible to get it back to tc for someone relatively new to ranked and has never seen this. Third one, finally it is going well. I had a good early rush killed some vils get a good castle age timing...game out of nowhere starts severely lagging indicating it is on my opponents end...I literally can't micro my cav archers and the sound for being attacked even starts lagging. I just exited the game after my cav archers were not even responding. Then fourth one is guess what...another closed map yay! I have been trying to just suck it up and play these out which I did again, but yeah I got beat down. Just a brutal stretch. I find anytime I don't play in the evenings in the US the lag can be pretty bad so maybe will just avoid ranked at those times. I wish the matchmaking would just take a bit longer and prioritize location and map selection I would gladly wait a extra minute or so for this. Also if anyone has any advice on what to do if one of your boars is on the other side of a long woodline I am all ears I was honestly just shocked.
